And the workshop is now open for booking.
Svalbard is some distance from Michael's usual locations of choice, but he looks forward to applying the same patience and desire to see wildlife and nature there which served him so well in the Serengetti, Congo, and in other wild and unforgettable places. Like so many of the world's best photographers, Michael trusts in Better Moments and in our great respect and passion for photography.

Experience the tumultuous sixties in the US through the lens of a man who was to leave his own indelible stamp on American cultural history.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the winner of Better Moments' Photographer of the Year 2016 competition. With an emphatic win, the photographer with the majority of the votes is Ross Brown from England.Tom D. Jones commented: "It is quite a challenge to take an aerial picture in such a complex scenery. Ross created a lot of depth by using the pattern of iceblocs in the center of the image, that is leading you to infinty."
The first runner-up in Photographer of the Year 2016 is Jürgen Wettke from Germany.
Expert photographer Hans Strand commented: "A vivid photograph of a vivid place. Where on earth will you find something as colorful and complex like this? The answer is Iceland. Mr. Wettke has captured the situation and interpreted this very colorful and complex river delta through a perfect composition".
